Privacy Policy

1. Basic Account Information

When you use our services, you may optionally provide personal information, such as your email address.

2. Contact Information

We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services, to market to you, and to help prevent spam, fraud, or abuse.

3. Social Media Services

You can choose to access certain third party social media Web sites and services through our Services (such as Twitter or Facebook) (“Social Media Services”). When you do so, you are sharing information with those Social Media Services, and the information you share will be governed by their privacy policies and terms of service. You may also be able to modify your privacy settings with these Social Media Services to, for example, control what information the Social Media Services disclose to third party services like Filtr.

When you add Social Media Service accounts to the Services or sign into the Services using your Social Media Services account, we will collect relevant information necessary to enable our Services to access that Social Media Service, but you will provide your login information, like your password, directly to such Social Media Service (and not to us). As part of such integration, the Social Media Service will provide us with access to certain information that you have provided to such Social Media Service, and we will use, store and disclose such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and, if and to the extent applicable, the policies of such Social Media Services. In addition, we may provide certain information about you or your activities on the Services, or that you have otherwise provided to us, to such Social Media Services as part of such integration (including information that may be used by such Social Media Services to personalize ads for you).

However, please remember that the manner in which Social Media Services use, store and disclose your information is governed by the policies of such third parties, and we shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any Social Media Services that may be enabled within the Service.

4. Location Information

Filtr may indirectly receive information about your location history. For example, your Facebook post may contain location data. You may choose to re-publish your historical location to third party social media Web sites and services through our Services.

Third-party services may also determine location by using other data from your device, such as precise location information from GPS, information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address. We may use your location to provide features of our Services, such as sharing a post with your location, and to improve and customize the Services.

5. Log Data

When you use our Services, we may receive information (“Log Data”) such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device information (including device and application IDs), search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, for example, when you visit our app or website, sign into our Services, interact with our email notifications, use your account to access a Social Media Service. We may also receive Log Data when you click on, view or interact with our Services, including links to Social Media Services. Filtr uses Log Data to provide, understand, and improve our Services and to customize the content we show you.

Filtr uses a variety of third-party services to help provide our Service and to help us understand and improve the use of our Services. These third-party service providers may collect information sent by your device. Third-party partners may share information with us, like posts clicked, to help us measure and tailor our Services.
